Derby Day

While Kiel and Sarah were away at the Kentucky Derby, the rest of the factory had our very own Kentucky Derby party with some lovely goodies from Vineyard Vines. We were all more than happy to have an excuse to break out our best derby style and our favorite big hats! Delicious cupcakes and crisp mint juleps were the perfect way to end the work week- for those under 21 we also tried this equally refreshing recipe for a non alcoholic alternative. Thanks again to Vineyard Vines for including us in the Derby fun!

Mount Hope Farm Sweetheart Barn Dance

Due to inclement weather on actual Valentine's day weekend, the first annual Sweetheart Barn Dance at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol was postponed and then morphed into a hybrid Valentine's day and St. Patrick's day dance. Incorporating both holidays into one evening made for a fun and festive company outing that was worth the wait! We all had a great time dancing, of course- we like to think we made an impressive showing in the dance circle with serious Irish dancing from Cat and Rachel and classic Michael Jackson moves from Kiel.
